Modules for Voltage Modular
Meet Slo Fo. The very, very, very, very slow LFO.
Ever needed to gradually open a filter across your full 15 hour remix of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen?
Ever wanted to morph between 4 different soundscapes across several minutes, or even hours?
Do you wish you had an LFO so slow that you can't stay awake long enough to see it repeat?
Slo Fo has you covered.
Slo Fo has five different waveforms and caters for time periods from 0.1 seconds to a ridiculous 24 hours across three frequency ranges.
Features include 4 quadrature outputs, adjustable output amplitude, some quick set buttons for common voltage ranges and a nifty means to enter an exact frequency or time period.
A standard trigger input. A rising edge will reset the waveform to the start.
These four outputs provide the waveform in four different phases, each 90 degrees shifted from the previous one.
This sets the output frequency using the range selected with the range switch.
The tooltip shows both the frequency and the time period and a nice feature is that you can right-click, choose "Edit Value" and enter an exact value as a frequency in Hz, mHz or uHz or as a time period in s, m or h.
This selects one of three ranges.
High range goes from a scarily quick 10 Hz down to 0.0167 Hz (or 60 seconds in more useful units).
Medium range is 60 seconds to 60 minutes.
Low range is 60 minutes to an utterly daft 24 hours, that's 11.57 microHertz in case you were wondering.
This selects one of five waveforms: sine, square, triangle, sawtooth or ramp.
These set the level of the output between -10v and +10v.
These buttons give you a quick way to select common output ranges, 4 unipolar and 4 bipolar.
This resets the waveform to the start.
